I loved visiting St. Lucia recently, even if it was online. Virtual Vacation Experiences put together such an amazing online event that I truly felt like I had been transported to this beautiful island paradise!
To begin with, we were quickly whisked away to the deep blue waters of the ocean aboard one of Hackshaw’s Boat Charters catamarans. I could almost feel the ocean breeze as they showed us the amazing view from the deck of the boat.
Next, we were given a glimpse of what it would be like to go horseback riding on the beach as we watched the folks from Atlantic Shores Riding Stables gallop along the shoreline of the Atlantic Ocean. Then, we went on an adventure with Maxwell from Island ATV as he showed us part of the tour route. I could almost feel the bumps in the road! And those lush pineapple fields he took us to made me want to pick some fresh fruit to enjoy for a snack!
As if all of this wasn’t magical enough, we were then introduced to Bonnie and Giselle, a mother-daughter duo who shared the story of how Castles in Paradise came to be. This luxurious villa resort is situated on the most picturesque hilltop overlooking the ocean. Bonnie truly was a visionary when she saw this piece of land in rubble and envisioned building these spectacular villas on it. Castles in Paradise definitely looks like a heavenly place to escape for a vacation!
Honestly, this virtual vacation experience was just what I needed! And the first thing I told my husband when it was done was “our next family vacation has to be in St. Lucia!” When the time comes, Tracy will be the first person I call to make this dream a reality.
